MEET OUR LEADERS

Apostle Adrian Taylor, Jr. and Prophetess LaKenya Taylor

Apostle Adrian Taylor, Jr.

A native of St. Louis, Missouri, Adrian Taylor, Jr., is the founding Pastor of one of the fastest-growing churches in the Southeast Missouri Region.  Lighthouse Breakthrough International Ministries, also known as Lighthouse United, is a multiracial and multigenerational church based in Cape Girardeau, MO. Spreading a clear vision for discipleship and a focus to bring unity among scattered people, Pastor Taylor boldly proclaims the Word of God to win souls and build mature Believers in Christ.

Officially Affirmed in 2002, Taylor is an internationally recognized and respected Apostle of the Lord Jesus Christ. He partners with many missionary projects and churches to help hurting people globally.  Through his television broadcast, Faith Focus, which airs throughout the world, Adrian and his wife LaKenya teach practical wisdom that challenges viewers to grow past their pain, conquer fear, and be diligent stewards of life for the glory for God.

Pastor Adrian served as the first African American President of the Cape Girardeau Ministerial Alliance, and since 2014, he has served as a Police Chaplain for the Cape Girardeau Police Department, Jackson Police Department, and the Cape Girardeau County Sheriff’s Office.  Taylor holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology from Covenant Bible College and Seminary, and he has completed his Master’s and Doctorate of Theology from the North Carolina College of Theology. Dr. Taylor believes in Solid Christian education, and until the Summer of 2021, he served as the President of the Faith Focus College of Theology- a Satellite Campus of the North Carolina College of Theology.

With multiple books to his credit, including, “Faith Focus” & “Pillars of Excellence,” Taylor is dynamic and energetic in his presentation.  His uncanny ability to connect with people from all walks of life has expanded his impact beyond the church world.  Taylor is a Business Consultant, and he is frequently requested to speak in corporate, community, and civic arenas on a wide array of subjects including, team building, racial reconciliation, self-care, leadership, and strategic planning.

In 2019, with the blessing of his late Spiritual Father, Apostle Maurice K Wright, Apostle Taylor launched the LIFE Network, a thriving Alliance of Five Fold Ministry Leaders, Churches, and Ministries.  The LIFE Network exists to demonstrate that unity is more than a sermon topic; it is the way of life for all that Follow Christ.  Apostle Taylor’s hope for The LIFE Network is that leaders will be equipped and encouraged to work together for the glory of God on a global scale.

Adrian and his wife LaKenya are the proud parents of Joshua Taylor, who, since he was 8 years old, has authored 9 published books and is pursuing a Double Bachelor’s Degree in Theater Arts and English Education at GCU in Grandview, AZ.
